Do you love to DIY?  I know I do!  South Hill have given us even more ways to customize and really bring a personal touch to our jewelry.  This season we have focused on 

"sharing your story and showcasing your style"

This can all be done with our new DIY charms!

Now we can shrink down your favourite photo, saying, pattern or design into a mini or medium sized charm! 

You can choose an old photograph which can be shrunk and put into a charm.  Here one of my customers used an old photo of her and her brother as a gift to her mother for christmas! 

After completing this order for her I couldn't resist and had to make myself the exact same locket but with my daughters photo in a medium sized DIY charm.

I really also enjoy helping pet owners create their photo charms!

December Locket of the month

Wow I am blown away again by the beauty of our Locket of the Month for December.  

Its the prefect gift for family, friends, newly engaged, anniversary birthday etc

Sneek Peek part 2!!

Here are a few more pictures of the growing christmas decor in the house! I am taking a trip to Chicago next week and will update with anymore new additions to the christmas collection!  

White trees are a staple to my home and they stay out year round.  These I purchased at a wedding decor wholesaler. The branches are somewhat bendable and it comes with a mirrored base.

I am not done the main dining room table yet so I don't want to spoil the finished product just yet but you can see I ventured out and have some red in my decor this year!

This GORGEOUS plaid piece is actually a tablecloth that I turned into a runner by layering and scrunching it in the middle of the table.

Can you see the little white sleigh??  Isn't it beautiful?? Burlap and lace add the country vintage christmas feel I absolutely LOVE!

Finally who doesn't love a little bling?  I USUALLY go sparkly and bling but this year will have only a few accents incorporated into my vintage decor!

Green Velvet Crush DIY

If you can't tell I am honestly obsessed with old & vintage!   I have been on the hunt for the perfect pieces to paint or just vintage up.  Here in the big city it is hard to find old items or furniture that is not marked up insanely because it looks "vintage" so I take to the online garage sales.  I have purchased a few pieces already online and have made great contacts who now send me pictures first of any furniture they want to sell.

So let me introduce you to my new piece, my metal green velvet bench.

Isn't it a beaut???  I love the green velvet.  If you ask my husband he might give you a different opinion ;) 

So I do like it the way it is but my chalk paint personality came out.  I couldn't resist my white chalk paint.  The contrast of white and the vintage green is going to be gorgeous!!

Pretty in Plum

There is nothing more fabulous than fall according to me ;) I love sweaters, boots, bonfires, the leaves falling but most of all the warm tones of Rose gold.  I wanted to warm up my look so I changed my usual silver to Rosegold and filled it with a purple/plum Swarovski embellishment.

This is the first piece I started with!  I paired our textured oval link chain with a rosegold linkable locket.  The large plum embellishment next and the final piece...the mixed metal tassel.

I am also a fan of layering so of course I couldn't leave this beautiful piece all alone...

The medium Rosegold locket is really an eye catcher.  Simple yet spectacular. No crystals needed on this one.  I paired it with the ever popular Natalie chain and finished it of with a medium plum Swarovski embellishment.

Put them together and you have a plum spice latte that can compete with the best of them!
