I love showcasing South Hill Designs at various trade shows and vendor events but what excites me is the fact that I get to design my booth! Vintage is and always be my theme, so today I took to a few projects to really bring more vintage to the stage.
I have been looking for the perfect necklace display busts and just haven't been in love with any colours so I decided to refresh some that I had purchased from Michaels craft store! They are PERFECT!! With a little paint these are now EXACTLY what my table needed to tie the South Hill colours of white and grey together!
You are probably extremely curious as to what supplies I used to refinish this bust! Well the good news is its very easy and the supplies are all available at Michaels.
I used Martha Stewart Multi surface Satin paint on the fabric of the bust. I used an $0.89 foam brush to lightly coat the fabric.

For the top piece and bottom stand I mixed a little of this black chalkboard paint into the white multi surface paint to create a grey. Martha Stewart does carry a grey but it is more warm with a brown undertone.
I found everything needed 2 coats to get my desired effect! I can't wait to show you the table display with these beauties in it.
Do you love?
